Susan Thorning is the Chief Operating Officer at the Ontario Community Support Association (OCSA). Her educational background is varied and includes academic studies in philosophy, education, gerontology and not-for-profit management. She has experience in a variety of settings including hospital chronic care, long-term care and the community. In 1986 Susan started one of Ontario’s first day programs serving clients with Alzheimer Disease. She joined OCSA in 1993, where she has had extensive experience in project management and development of standards, training, and knowledge management activities with community based organizations and First Nation communities across the province.
